Trinity County Veterans Wall of Honor Society is a Texas non-profit
organization that is registered with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as a section
501(C)(3) tax exempt entity (Fed.# 26-3490762). Our membership is open to the public
and all members; including the Board of Directors, are entirely non-paid volunteers. We
exist to provide assistance to Trinity County Veterans, active personnel, and their
families. We have found that many times either through "red tape", rules, or regulations
basic needs that our Veterans may have go unheeded. This is the special niche that our
organization strives to fill. As just a few examples of our accomplishments, we have
constructed wheel chair ramps for residences, provided and installed air
conditioning/heating units, provided and installed hot water heaters, retrofitted bathroom
facilities to accommodate the handicapped and elderly, repaired leaky roofs, and helped
offset the fuel costs associated with travel to V.A. facilities for health issues and
treatments.
We are able to do these things solely through the donations and contributions of generous
individuals and corporations. We conduct an annual fund-raising campaign consisting of
a raffle and auction held the last Saturday of each October. Each year, as word spreads of
the good deeds we do, our success has grown thus allowing us to help more and more
individuals. Over the years our fundraisers have consistently generated over $12,000 -
$15,000 that we are able to use in our efforts.
Please feel free to contact any member listed below with any questions you may have. to
offer an auction or raffle item, to make a donation or contribution, or to alert us to an area
Veteran that may need assistance.

We honor Trinity County veterans by preserving the Wall of Honor, uplifting their stories, and mobilizing community resources to support those who served and their families.

We serve Trinity County veterans, active-duty and reserve members, spouses, widows/widowers: prioritizing local, urgent, and quality‑of‑life needs.

The Wall of Honor was established by volunteers to recognize local service. Over the years we have added names, and photos to the physical Wall of Honor, and held ceremonies that bring our community together to remember and give thanks.

Volunteer at events, help with any fundraisers, donate, or share veterans’ stories. Use the Donate and Request Assistance pages in the menu to get started.
